“ We were down the road at the Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge and on the way back home stopped in at La Gitana for a couple of cold adult beverages and a snack. We found the place to be very warm and inviting and the people working there were great and couldn’t have been nicer. The beers were cold and the Jalapeno Poppers were excellent as well! Next time we are down in Arivaca, we’ll be stopping in at La Gitana once again! :) ”

“ We were on a mission. We had our Visit Canoa map in hand and ready to see new places. The first stop was the Canoa Ranch rest area. Our goal was to make it to Arivaca Lake sometime around lunchtime. It was a beautiful drive out to the lake. We saw. We took some pics. We were ready for food. On the way back, we stopped in at La Gitana Cantina. We walked in and were promptly greeted by the bartender/server. The manager was also there and came to our table to visit and fill us in on some history, some menu items, and some refreshing drinks. For us at that moment in time and space-it was first class. The food was good. The drinks cold and refreshing. The atmosphere, imagining the dance hall atmosphere of its day, was comfortable. We will definitely go back to La Gitana. ”
